JEE Advanced 2021 Registration Date Postponed, Check New Dates


The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Kharagpur has postponed the registration dates for JEE Advanced 2021, which was scheduled to begin from today- September 11.

JEE Advanced 2021 registration will now begin from September 13, 2021. Candidates must go through the official site of JEE Advanced, jee adv.ac.in, for the latest updates.

As per the official notice, due to the delay in the publication of JEE (Main) 2021 results, the already announced date of registration for JEE (Advanced) 2021 has been postponed.

The new registration schedule for JEE (Advanced) 2021 is as follows:

Starting date of Registration: September 13, 2021 (Afternoon)

Last date of Registration: September 19, 2021, 17:00 IST

Last date of fee payment: September 20, 2021, 17:00 IST

Meanwhile, the exam will not be conducted in any of the foreign centres/countries, in view of the prevailing pandemic situation due to COVID-19. The foreign national candidates may appear for the exam at any of the Indian centres of their choice at their own expense while adhering to the Covid norms.

The JEE Advanced exam, which is scheduled to be held on October 3, will be held in two shifts- the first shift from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon (Paper-1) and the second shift from 14:30 pm to 17:30 pm (Paper-2). Around 2.5 lakh students who clear JEE Main will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2021.

Plus 3 Admission 2021: First Selection Cut-Off List Out, Check Details

The Odisha Higher Education department on Thursday released the first selection cut-off list for Plus 3 admission for the 2021-2022 academic session. The first cut-off mark has been released on www.samsodisha.gov.in. 

As many as 1,68,537 students have been selected in the first phase for admission to various degree colleges across the State. This year, a total of 2,44,252 students had applied for the Plus 3 admission. 

The BJB college in the State capital recorded a cut off of 95.20 per cent in geography, 96.40 in physics and zoology and 92 per cent in commerce.

CU-CET 2021: Exam Schedule For UG, PG Entrance Test-Revised, Check NTA Notification

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday released a notification informing about the revised dates for the Central Universities – Common Entrance Test (CUCET) 2021.

“It has been decided to interchange the schedule of Test Papers of Undergraduate/ Integrated (UI) i.e. Day 1 (15.09.2021) with Day 3 (23.09.2021) of Post Graduate (PG) programmes,” NTA notification read.

The revised schedule of Test Papers for UI and PG is available on the official website The Central Universities – Common Entrance Test (CU-CET) 2021 for Academic Session 2021-22 will be conducted throughout the country on September 15, September 16, September 23 and September 24, 2021.

CBSE Private, Patrachar & Compartment Students To Get Provisional UG Admissions: AICTE

The All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) has issued an important circular regarding provisional admissions of private, patriarchal and second compartment students under various Undergraduate (UG) courses.

In a letter to all its approved universities, deemed to be universities and institutions, the AICTE has directed that “Those students seeking admission in higher studies in various courses whose results are not yet declared by the CBSE (including Private, Patrachar and Second compartment), shall allow them admission on a provisional basis in their institutes/universities.”

The AICTE has further instructed its affiliated universities and institutions to obtain an ‘undertaking’ from such ‘provisionally admitted’ students that he/she shall submit their results within one week from the declaration of the results by the CBSE to their respective institution.

Central University Odisha, Koraput To Reopen From Sept 13; Check Guidelines For Research Scholars, PG & UG Students

The Central University of Odisha, Koraput will reopen its campus for research scholars, postgraduate (PG) and undergraduate (UG) students in a phased manner from the second week of September.

As per the official notification, the University will reopen for the research scholars on September 13. Similarly, the PG/UG (3rd, 5th, 7th & 9th Semesters) students will be allowed into the campus from September 20, 2021.

All the students will have to strictly follow the Covid-19 protocols and detailed guidelines have been issued in this regard.

CBSE To Prepare Question Paper Of Class 9 & 11; Board Responds To Viral Message, Fact Check

A lot of students were left in a quandary after coming across information on social media that claimed that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be preparing the question papers for Class 9 and 11 students.

The message has reportedly gone viral on various social media platforms including WhatsApp. The viral message claimed that the CBSE will conduct the Class 9 and 11 examinations across the country with a single question paper. The question paper will be prepared by the Board itself.

Meanwhile, the CBSE has refuted having any such plans.

"It has come to the notice that CBSE will provide Classes IX and XI Question Papers for the conduct of examinations in all its schools. In this regard, it is clarified that it is fake news and there is no such plan on the agenda of the CBSE," CBSE said in the latest circular.

NEET UG 2021: Admit Card Issue Resolved By NTA, Check Important Updates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an important notification informing that it has solved issues faced by candidates in the downloaded admit cards for the upcoming National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) -2021.

As per the latest notification issued by the NTA, it has resolved the issue pertaining to the pasting of the postcard size photograph on the second page of admit card which had occurred due to a shortage of space. The agency has released a fresh admit card and asked the candidates to download the same again.

“Numerous queries were received regarding the issue in pasting the Postcard size Photograph on the second page of Admit Card. This issue has been resolved now. So, the Candidates who have already downloaded the Admit Card are advised to download the Admit Card for NEET (UG)-2021 again from NTA NEET (UG) website (https://neet.nta.nic.in/),” the notice issued by NTA on Thursday stated.
